There are some people who are so neat that you just want to be near them. Sue is one of those mommies. I met her first when my sons were going to the same Mother’s Day Out that her kids were, and she was pulling up to the doors with energetic smile and full of energy pushing a stroller in front of her. She lived fairly nearby and chose to walk to get the children. That’s awesomeness right there.

Her home is so beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows around several parts of her home, modern decor you would find straight out of a magazine. And her children are just so adorable. I had the blessing of photographing her youngest’s newborn portraits, and I just love seeing him grow into a boy. He loves his daddy, in a bond that speaks louder than words. He was touching or near dad for at least 80% of our session. 🙂

Big brother is so full of curiosity. The minute they arrived at our location he was off to explore! Great way to warm up on a chilly morning. When he had warmed up to me and I got some portraits of him alone, he started swaying back and forth to show me his dancing moves. Soooo adorable.

And sister had me belly-laughing. With every click of my shutter she would strike a completely different pose, every one full of spunk and enthusiasm. I have to say she may have been my favorite that day.

This sweet couple reminded me of myself– chasing a bunch of small kiddos is certainly a tiring job. I am grateful to see parents like this who are dedicated to love and serve and teach their children. Days are long and road can be rough, but the work parents do is so important. And I give a double high-five to this couple for being so awesome.
