After talking to Joan so often on the phone and seeing her engagement pictures, I felt like i already knew her. She arrived in the Limo and came floating in from the cold, her hair, makeup and dress just perfect.
Can you tell it is FREEZING in this picture? These ladies put up with me making them come outside into some nice yummy natural light. I don’t know what temperature it was here, but it was 9 degrees when i woke up Saturday morning!!
See that fur? It’s real, and was given to her by her grandmother, who Joan is named after. Little did Joan know when she received it that she would one day wear it at her wedding. What a special part of the day.
This couple, Joan’s parents are the kindest people ever. Her dad has such a sense of humor, and we had some fun emails back and forth before the wedding day. Her mother is so gracious, and made me feel just like part of the family. They treated us as guests, and we even got to sit with them for dinner. Neat people if you ever get to meet them.
