Sam and Cheyenne came to our home as new friends for dinner back when they were dating– and they lived to tell about it!
Conversations can be quite disjointed over 4 kids, you know.
I was immediately quite taken by Cheyenne’s soft-spoken manners, and how easily she got along with everyone.
A while later when they announced their engagement, I got to meet with them and talk about their wedding.
It was right before a youth activity we were having in our woods.
I guess we have a pattern going– busy, disjointed conversations!
But everything ironed out perfectly and we had a beautiful winter wedding.
The sun came out at just the right times.
Somehow the crowds departed at just the right times.
Before the wedding, Sam was adorable as waiting for his first look of his beautiful bride.
He was so nervous it took him 30 minutes to tie his bowtie.
Something he’d done 5 times the night before, no problem.
As we had the first look across the way from the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, his dad and aunt and bff watched with teary eyes.
We luckily had space to ourselves indoors since the wind was blustering outside.
I love that these two people found each other, and made promises on their special wedding day.
Good luck with the rest of your wedding celebrations across the country, my friends!
