About Dustin & Amber (and Corban)
We are the Fifes. They always say you should discover what you are passionate about, and find a way to get paid to do it. You can't get paid to watch movies all day. Getting paid to eat ice cream is out of the picture. Riding rollercoasters? Nope. The first of our passions that we could actually get paid for was photography. So here we are!

Amber couldn't decide if she was right-brained or left-brained, so she majored in Art and Math. Little did she know how much she would use the principals of art in her profession and how little she would use the principals of math.

Amber began film photography in the fall of 2000 in the darkrooms at BYU. Later on during a study abroad in Africa she was introduced to digital photography as she photographed African children and fell in love with the honesty of children and the immediacy of digital. That led her to pursue the photojournalism route at the the University newspaper. She soon became Photo Editor, where she learned how to capture beauty and how to crack the whip on procrastinating photographers.

About this time, she met Dustin. Dustin, as opposed to Amber had no brain, so he chose to major in Psychology without a thought of even pursuing photography! But he couldn't long resist that irresistable pull of photography.

Soon after Amber and Dustin were married, Amber introduced him to the world of digital photography. Fife Photography became an official business in 2006. Dustin jumped in with both feet, having the advantage of fancy equipment and a gorgeous live-in tutor (namely Amber in case you were wondering). Within only a few months of starting digital photography his pictures, along with Amber's, were published in an international magazine. Now Amber and Dustin both benefit from each other's feedback as mutual colleagues in photography.

Corban McKay (born April 2007) began his career as a model in the hospital in Orem Utah. He mastered and pattented various dashing expressions including "Blue Steel," "Magnum," and "That's my Toy, Give it Back." As a child prodigy, he mastered his runway walk at the age of only 13 months. It has been said of him that he is "...arguably the most sought after and photographed child of this millenium."

When asked what he tributes his success to, with humble conviction and with chocolate smeared on his face, he unequivocably states, "Momma! Daddies! High Chair!"
